Q. Do you help for studying a foreign language, such as English, for a student to meet the University’s requirements?

A. No, there is no help for studying English, German, French or other languages before enrolling at the University in one of these countries.

ASAI recommends that students begin their language studies in the lower grades and then take special courses in their home countries.

The cost is much less and more practical for the students. The money used to study language can be applied instead to their academic studies.

Q. Can you get me an acceptance from an Arab University or foreign University for my higher degree?

A. ASAI no longer has a Placement Service. However, ASAI can highly recommend many Placement Services in the United States. They have worked with students from nations all over the world. Information on these organizations can be found in our website on another page. See Placement Service.

Q. Do you help in getting an acceptance for Medical doctors in special programs or internships?

A. No, the application procedure for medical doctors is very detailed and very structured. Doctors need to do their research and know the dates for the deadlines and the procedures for interviews well in advance to get an acceptance. Applications and questions can only be completed by the Doctors, themselves, because of the medical terminology used and the personal nature of the questions. Q. Will ASAI help me with a second degree?

A. No, ASAI helps a student for one degree only.

Q. Both my brother and I would like to apply to ASAI. Will you help both of us with our studies?

A. No, only one student in each family is assisted. Because there are so many students applying to ASAI, the policy is to help one member per family.

Q. I want to attend a four-day conference in another country. Do you help with expenses for these conferences or seminars?

A. No, ASAI cannot fund the trips to conferences. Many students request help to attend these conferences, but there are no extra funds for them.

Q. I need money for my airfare to the University in another country. Can you pay for my airfare?

A. No, ASAI does not provide funds for any travel expenditures.

Q. I am married and have brought my wife and three children with me. Now I need money for rent for an apartment and other school expenses for the children. Can ASAI give me more funds to take care of my family?

A. No, ASAI has limited funds as a private, nonprofit organization, and all funds are directed to the educational program of the students. For the added expense for a family, the student should have sufficient funds available before taking his family with him for many years. ASAI understand the desire to have the family during this period of time; however, it is very costly and must be provided from other resources.

Q. Why are you not giving to Medical students now?

A. From the reports ASAI has received, at this time, that in many areas there are too many new doctors who are unable to find employment in their home countries.
